i made a demo that i call my 'bomb demo' (think of worms, only you get to carpet-bomb the level; check it out here). one of the problems i had when i made it was that it was kinda tough to make a decent landform. someone mentioned to me that I could have made smoother terrain if I had been using splines. now, I don’t know shit about splines, but I do know that allegro does them. maybe if I come back to this demo I can use the spline stuff and make the terrain a little more pleasing. but why stop there? instead of fucking around with perlin noise to generate 3d terrains, i'm sure i could put splines to use to do the same thing. just a thought for now.
